    LG Smith Foundation Holiday Cocktail Party


    On November 21st, 2011,Team Baker successfully hosted an auction for the Leon G. Smith Infectious Disease Foundation at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. The Holiday Cocktail party was hosted by Direct Waste and Recycling. A few of the items sold were a Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez signed baseball, an Eli Manning signed football, a Wayne Gretzky signed jersey, and a Bernie Williams signed jersey.

    HHAF NYC Mobile Food Pack


    On October 1, 2011, Team Baker participated in the Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation's New York City Mobile Food Pack. Team Baker, alongside a thousand New York metro volunteers, packaged fortified meals for famine victims in the Horn of Africa. The 7 hour mobile pack event facilitated by non-profit organization Feed My Starving Children took place at the brand new Basketball City in the South Street Sea Port, New York.

    In addition to volunteering, Team Baker was able to donate fundraising items for a raffle and helped facilitate sponsorship deals.
